Marking
3-digits marking for E24 series 1% ,5% products. For values up to 9.1 the R is used as a decimal point. For values of 10.0 or greater the first 2 digits apply to the resistance value and the third indicates the number of zeros to follow. Example: 4.7 = 4R7, 10 = 100, 100 = 101, 6800 = 682, 47000 = 473. No marking for WA04Y chip resistors array and E96 series resistance.
Functional Description
Standard values of nominal resistance are taken from the E24 series for 5% tolerance and E24/E96 series for 1% tolerance, in accordance with IEC publication 60063.
Mounting and Soldering
Suitable for automatic placement systems on ceramic substrates and printed-circuit boards (PCBs). End terminations guarantee reliable contact. Can be immersed in a solder bath of 260C for 10 seconds. Tested for solderability at 235C for 2 seconds. No leaching at 260C for 30 seconds.
