The ASC_WA04/06 series offers general-purpose chip resistors arrays in various configurations, including convex and concave types. Marking

3-digits marking for E24 series 1% ,5% products. For values up to 9.1 the R is used as a decimal point. For values of 10.0 or greater the first 2 digits apply to the resistance value and the third indicates the number of zeros to follow. Example: 4.7 = 4R7, 10 = 100, 100 = 101, 6800 = 682, 47000 = 473. No marking for WA04Y chip resistors array and E96 series resistance.

Functional Description

Standard values of nominal resistance are taken from the E24 series for 5% tolerance and E24/E96 series for 1% tolerance, in accordance with IEC publication 60063. Power dissipation is dependent on operating temperature, refer to derating curves.

Mounting and Soldering

Suitable for automatic placement systems on ceramic substrates and PCBs. End terminations guarantee reliable contact. Can be immersed in a solder bath of 260C for 10 seconds. Tested for solderability at 235C for 2 seconds. No leaching at 260C for 30 seconds. Refer to Fig 4 for typical infrared soldering profiles.

Test and Requirements

Tests are carried out according to IEC publication 115-8, category LCT/UCT/56, and meet EIA, EIAJ, and JIS requirements. Standard atmospheric conditions apply for testing (Temperature: 15C to 35C, Relative humidity: 45% to 75%, Air pressure: 86kPa to 106 kPa). All soldering tests are performed with mildly activated flux.
