The ASC_WA04/06 series offers general-purpose chip resistors arrays designed for reduced equipment size and lower assembly costs. Marking

3-digits marking for E24 series 1% ,5% products. For values up to 9.1 the R is used as a decimal point. For values of 10.0 or greater the first 2 digits apply to the resistance value and the third indicates the number of zeros to follow. No marking for WA04Y chip resistors array and E96 series resistance.

Functional Description

Standard values of nominal resistance are taken from the E24 series for 5% tolerance and E24/E96 series for 1% tolerance, in accordance with IEC publication 60063. Power dissipation is dependent on operating temperature, refer to Fig.3 for derating curve.

Mounting and Soldering

These Surface Mountable Resistors are suitable for automatic placement systems and can be mounted on ceramic substrates and printed-circuit boards (PCBs). They can be immersed in a solder bath of 260C for 10 seconds. Solderability is tested at 235C for 2 seconds. The test condition for no leaching is 260C for 30 seconds. Typical soldering profiles are provided in Fig 4.
