Product Overview
The Vishay Dale WSBS8518...20 is a high-power metal strip shunt resistor featuring two sense pins, designed for very low resistance values (50 to 250 ). Its proprietary processing technique and welded terminal-to-element construction ensure extremely low resistance and a high power-to-size ratio. The sense pins provide consistent contact location, and the solid metal manganese-copper alloy element offers a low TCR (< 20 ppm/C) and very low inductance (< 5 nH). This resistor is suitable for applications requiring precise current sensing with minimal power loss and low thermal EMF.
