The Vishay Dale WSBS8518 Power Metal Strip Shunt Resistor features a high power-to-resistor size ratio and is designed for very low resistance values (50 to 250 ). Its sense pins ensure consistent contact location, and a proprietary processing technique achieves extremely low resistance. The welded terminal-to-element construction utilizes a solid metal manganese-copper alloy resistive element with a low TCR (< 20 ppm/C), very low inductance (< 5 nH), and low thermal EMF (< 1 V/C). This resistor is suitable for applications requiring precise current sensing and high power handling in a compact form factor.
