The Vishay AY1 Series Ceramic Disc Safety Capacitor is designed for EMI suppression and filtering applications, particularly in automotive environments such as battery chargers and DC/DC converters for PHEV/EV and HEV. These Class X1 (760 VAC) and Class Y1 (500 VAC) capacitors offer high reliability, AEC-Q200 qualification, and the ability to withstand significant voltage pulses and temperature cycles. They are encapsulated in flame-retardant epoxy resin compliant with UL 94 V-0.
