Product Overview

The Vishay Sprague 593D series offers Solid Tantalum Surface Mount Chip Capacitors with a TANTAMOUNT molded case and low ESR. These capacitors are designed for high ripple current applications and are compatible with automatic pick-and-place equipment. Effective September 2005, new capacitor ratings are no longer added to the 593D series, with all new ratings available in the TR3 series for state-of-the-art low ESR in switch mode power supplies and DC/DC converters. These capacitors are qualified to EIA-717 and meet EIA-535-BAAC mechanical and performance requirements.
