Vishay BCcomponents 138 AML Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
The 138 AML series from Vishay BCcomponents offers polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitors with a non-solid electrolyte. These capacitors feature axial leads and a cylindrical aluminum case, insulated with a blue sleeve (smaller sizes are molded with flame retardant plastic). They are charge and discharge proof, offering long useful life (2000 h to 10,000 h at 105 C) and high reliability. Designed for miniaturization, they provide a high CV-product per unit volume and high ripple current capability. Applications include industrial, automotive, EDP, and telecommunication sectors for smoothing, filtering, buffering, coupling, decoupling, and timing functions, as well as in portable and mobile equipment, stand-by applications, and low mounting height boards requiring vibration and shock resistance.
