CR Series General Purpose Thick Film Resistors
The CR Series General Purpose Thick Film Resistors are designed for a wide range of applications, offering stable performance over temperature and good power dissipation capabilities. These resistors feature a robust construction with an alumina substrate, multiple electrode layers, and a protective coating. The standard termination finish is 100% matte Tin (Sn) over Nickel, ensuring excellent solderability with wrap-around termination. Certain values are also available for conductive epoxy applications, making them suitable for demanding environments such as MRI applications.

Derating Curve
The derating curve illustrates the reduction in rated power as the ambient temperature increases. For 01005 & 0201 sizes, the curve applies up to 125C. For 0402 to 2512 sizes, the curve applies up to 155C.
Marking Code Information
Marking codes are used to indicate resistance values and tolerances. Specific codes apply based on size, tolerance, and resistance value series (e.g., E24, E96). 01005, 0201, and 0402 sizes cannot be marked. For 0603 size, 1% E-96 values are marked with a standard 3-digit alpha-numeric code.
