Product Overview

The Venkel CRS Series Anti-Sulfuration Resistors are designed to prevent open-circuit failures caused by the formation of Silver Sulfide (Ag2S). These resistors offer enhanced reliability, confirmed by test data showing no failures up to 9,000 hours under specific sulfurous atmospheric conditions. With a low TCR as low as 100ppm and Moisture Sensitivity Level 1, they are suitable for demanding applications where sulfur contamination is a concern. Standard termination finish is 100% matte Tin (Sn) over Nickel.

  • Resistance to Soldering Heat: (0.5%+0.05) for 1% and below, (1.0%+0.05) for 5%. Tested at 2605C for 10 seconds.
  • Rapid Change of Temperature: (0.5%+0.05) for 1% and below, (1.0%+0.05) for 5%. Tested from -55C to +125/+155C, 5 cycles.
