Product Overview
The Vishay BC components VY1 Series is a single-layer AC disc safety capacitor designed for EMI/RFI suppression and filtering applications. These capacitors comply with IEC 60384-14, offering high reliability and robust performance. They are suitable for line-to-line and line-to-ground filtering, primary and secondary coupling in SMPS, and general EMI/RFI suppression. The capacitors feature vertical (inline) kinked or straight leads and are encapsulated in flame-retardant epoxy resin (UL 94 V-0).
