Precautions for Use:
High resistance values (hundreds of K ohms) can have reduced reliability, especially in humid environments. Consider using MG High Voltage Surge Resistors or Chip Resistors for ultra-high resistance applications.
For low resistance applications where temperature coefficient or current capability is critical, consider KN Wire Wound Resistors.
Precision metal film resistors have thinner film layers and are less resistant to pulses compared to other film resistor types. Avoid high resistance products in high pulse or continuous pulse circuits.
Due to the high-temperature oxidation susceptibility of the conductive layer, pay attention to surface temperature rise and surrounding cooling conditions for high-power products. Avoid fixing or potting with glues on the resistor surface, as they can impede heat dissipation and potentially cause electrochemical reactions leading to failure.
