Precautions for Use
Due to the thin film of high resistance values (hundreds of K ohms), reliability may decrease, especially in high humidity environments. For ultra-high resistance values, consider using MG High Voltage Surge Resistors or Chip Resistors. For low resistance and ultra-low resistance applications where temperature coefficient or current capability is critical, KN Wire Wound Resistors are recommended. Precision metal film resistors have thinner films compared to other thin film resistors of the same size and resistance, resulting in lower pulse resistance. Avoid using high resistance products in high pulse or continuous pulse circuits. The conductive composition is prone to oxidation at high temperatures; ensure proper heat dissipation and avoid using adhesives on the surface, as they can hinder cooling and potentially react with the conductive film, causing failure.
