Test Environment: Ambient temperature: 252C, Relative humidity: 655%.

- Dissipation Factor: See Table 1 (WV: 6.3 to 120, tg: 0.22 to 0.12). *For capacity > 1000F, loss angle tangent increases by 0.02 for every 1000F increase.
- Leakage Current: DC: 6.3~120V.DC, I0.01CV or 3uA, whichever is greater (I: Leakage Current (), C: Capacitance (F), V: Rated voltage (V)).
- High and Low Temperature Characteristic: Step 2 (Low Temp): Impedance value compared to Step 1, not more than Table 2 requires. Step 4 (High Temp): Capacity value compared to Step 1, change within 20%.
- Surge Voltage Test: Apply surge voltage listed in Table 3, charge 305s, discharge 3305s for 1000 cycles. Test temperature: 15~35. Capacitance Change: Within 20% of initial value. Dissipation Factor: Not more than 200% specified value in Table 1. Leakage Current: Satisfy No. 4.1.4.

- Termination Strength:
- Tensile strength of termination: At Room temperature, apply tension (see table for force based on wire diameter) for 51 seconds.
- Bending strength of termination: At Room temperature, apply fixed gravity (see table for force based on wire diameter), bend 90 degrees, return, bend 90 degrees opposite, return. Process completed in 5 seconds.
- Vibration: 3 orthogonal directions, 2h each (total 6h). Frequency: 10~55Hz. Amplitude: 1.5mm.
- Solder ability Test: Solder temperature: 2455. Dipping time: 20.5 s. Criteria: At least 90% of circumferential surface of the dipping portion of termination shall be covered with new solder.
- Durability test:
- Load Life Test: Test temperature: 1052C, apply rated voltage and rated ripple current. Test time: 5-6.3 (3000H); 8-10 (5000H); 13 (6000H). Capacitance Change: Within 25% (16V~100V) or 30% (6.3V~10V) of initial value.
