Overview: This specification covers EH series Radial Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors. It is designed and manufactured in accordance with JIS-C-5101 and JIS-C-5141 standards.

Test Environment: Unless otherwise specified, measurements and tests are conducted under standard atmospheric conditions: Ambient temperature: 252C, Relative humidity: 655%.

Product Characteristics:

  • Electrical Characteristics:
    • Rated voltage and Operating Temperature: -40~105 (6.3~120V.DC)
    • Capacitance: Tested at 120Hz 20% with a measuring voltage of 1Vrms. Capacitance tolerance is 20%.
    • Dissipation Factor (DF): See Table 1 for values based on WV. For capacities over 1000F, DF increases by 0.02 for every 1000F increase.
    • Leakage Current: Measured after 2 minutes of applying rated voltage with a 100010% protective resistor. For DC 6.3~120V.DC, I0.01CV or 3uA, whichever is greater.
    • High and Low Temperature Characteristic: Impedance and capacitance values are measured at different temperature steps (-40 and 105) and compared to room temperature values.
    • Surge Voltage Test: Capacitors undergo 1000 cycles of surge voltage application. Parameters are checked for changes within 20% of initial values for capacitance, within 200% of specified DF, and meeting leakage current requirements.
  • Mechanical Characteristics:
    • Tensile strength of termination: Applied force varies with wire diameter.
    • Bending strength of termination: Leads are bent to 90 degrees in opposite directions.
