Product Overview

The Skyworks Si500D is a quartz-free, MEMS-free, and PLL-free all-silicon oscillator designed to provide reliable and stable clock generation. It offers a wide frequency range from 0.9 to 200 MHz with excellent temperature stability and high immunity to shock and vibration. This oscillator is footprint compatible with industry-standard 3.2 x 5.0 mm XOs and is available in various output formats including CMOS, SSTL, LVPECL, LVDS, and HCSL. The Si500D is suitable for applications requiring low jitter (<1.5 ps rms) and dependable operation across a commercial temperature range of 0 to 85 C, including 10-year aging in hot environments. It supports multiple supply voltage options (1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V) and features low power consumption, driver stopped, tri-state, or powerdown operation modes. The device is RoHS compliant and offers a significantly better fit rate compared to competing crystal solutions.
