  • Dissipation Factor (DF): See Table 1 for WV vs tg values.
  • Leakage Current (DC): 160~500V.DC, I0.02CV+25uA (I: Leakage Current (), C: Capacitance (F), V: Rated voltage (V)), measured after 2 min electrification.
  • High and Low Temperature Characteristic: Impedance at -25/-40C compared to 20C should not exceed Table 2 requirements. Capacitance change at 105C compared to 20C should be within 20%.
  • Surge Voltage Test: 1000 cycles of 305s charge and 3305s discharge with voltages listed in Table 3. Capacitance change within 20% of initial value. Dissipation Factor not more than 200% of Table 1. Leakage Current to satisfy No. 4.1.4.

Mechanical Characteristics

  • Termination Strength: Tensile and bending strength tests applied to leads with specified forces based on wire diameter. No intermittent contacts, open/short circuits, or mechanical damage after test.
  • Vibration: 2 hours in 3 orthogonal directions (total 6h). Frequency 10-55Hz, Amplitude 1.5mm. No intermittent contacts, open/short circuits, or mechanical damage.
  • Solderability: Leads dipped in solder at 2455C for 20.5s. At least 90% of the dipped termination surface area should be covered with new solder.

Durability Test

  • Load Life Test: 5000H at 1052C with rated voltage and ripple current. Capacitance change within 20%, Dissipation Factor not more than 200% of initial, Leakage Current to satisfy No. 4.1.4, Appearance: No abnormality.
  • Shelf Life Test: 1000-0+48h storage at 1052C without voltage, then recovered for at least 16 hours. Capacitance change within 20%, Dissipation Factor not more than 200% of initial, Leakage Current not more than 200% of initial, Appearance: No abnormality.
  • Solder-Heat-Resistance: Dipping in solder at 2605C for 101s on a 1.6mm PCB. Capacitance change within 10%, Dissipation Factor not more than initial value, Leakage Current to satisfy No. 4.1.4, Appearance: No abnormality.
  • Safety Vent: Applicable to products with diameter 8mm. Test conditions involve applied current and reverse rated voltage for a specified vent time. No explosion, flash, flame, spark, fire, or metal expulsion from casing.
  • Resistance to Damp Heat: 5008h at 402C and 90~95% relative humidity. After test, capacitors are subjected to standard atmospheric conditions for 1-2 hours before parameter testing. Capacitance change within 10%.
