Application Notes

Control Input (Output Enable/Disable):

  • Logic 1 or open on Pad 1: Oscillator output enabled.
  • Logic 0 on Pad 1: Disable output to high impedance.

Waveform Measurement System: Minimum bandwidth of 5 times the frequency being tested.

Output Enable/Disable Delay: Oscillator timing during normal operation. When the device is in standby, the oscillator stops. Upon release from standby, the oscillator starts and provides a stable output after a short delay.

Reliability Testing

Mechanical Endurance:

  • Drop Test: 75 cm height, 3 times on concrete floor (JIS C6701).
  • Mechanical Shock: Half sine wave (1000 G), 0.5ms duration, 3 times on each of three mutually perpendicular axes (MIL-STD-202F).
