For special environments (high temperature/humidity, corrosive gases like Cl2, H2S, NH3, SO2, NO2, unverified liquids, unverified sealing/coating materials), product characteristics and reliability must be individually approved. Cleaning after soldering is recommended, even with no-clean flux.
Transient Overload Precautions: Transient overloads can cause product malfunction. Ensure manufacturing and storage processes prevent transient currents exceeding product specifications.
Handling Precautions:
- Protect resistor edges and protective layers from mechanical stress.
- Handle PCBs carefully during separation or support fixation to avoid mechanical stress on resistors.
- Operate within rated power limits; exceeding them can cause damage due to temperature rise.
- For applications with high pulse load, set up the operating environment beforehand.
- Evaluate and confirm in your actual application, ensuring fail-safe design for system safety.
Storage and Handling Conditions
- Storage: 2 years under 255, 6015% RH.
- Avoid harsh environments: sea breeze, corrosive gases (Cl2, H2S, NH3, SO2, NO2), direct sunlight, condensation.
- Maintain correct box orientation during transport and storage. Avoid dropping or crushing boxes to prevent damage to electrodes or the body.
