X2Y Series Surface-mount Ceramic EMI Filter Capacitors
The X2Y series represents a significant advancement in ceramic multilayer products for decoupling and filtering within integrated passive devices (IPD). These components integrate two Y-capacitors and one X-capacitor into a single 4-terminal device, available in standard MLCC sizes. Their unique multilayer construction enables internal noise cancellation, drastically reducing Equivalent Series Inductance (ESL) from nanohenry to picohenry levels. The balanced design of the Y-capacitors and the shielded multilayer structure provides superior decoupling and filtering performance, acting as a broadband filter for enhanced EMC compliance across a wide range of applications.
