Product Overview
The X2Y Series Surface-mount ceramic EMI filter capacitors are integrated passive devices designed for decoupling and filtering applications. They comprise two Y-capacitors and one X-capacitor within a single 4-terminal device, available in standard MLCC sizes. This unique construction enables noise cancellation, significantly reducing Equivalent Series Inductance (ESL) from nanohenry to picohenry levels. X2Y products offer superior broadband filtering and decoupling performance, enabling better EMC compliance for electrical equipment across a wide range of frequencies up to and beyond 10 GHz. They provide a cost-effective solution by reducing component count and assembly costs, while also offering board-level design advantages by minimizing via drills.
