Notes and Precautions

Operating Temperature Range: -25 to +105. The maximum temperature of the inductor body should not exceed 105, considering the final product design, component layout, PCB traces, and usage environment. All test data is referenced to 25 ambient temperature.

Current Considerations:

  • Typical Heat Rating DC Current (Irms) causes approximately a 40 temperature rise (initial temperature + rise = final temperature).
  • Typical Saturation DC Current (Isat) causes the inductance value to drop by approximately 30%.
  • Choose a minimum of Irms and Isat as the rated current.

Handling and Storage:

  • Product storage life is 12 months. Storage conditions: Temperature 5~40, Humidity within 10~75% RH. Exceeding the storage period may cause oxidation of the product terminals.
  • Avoid using or storing in extreme environments (high salt, strong acid, strong alkali, strong radiation, etc.).
  • Handle with care to prevent static electricity, which can cause permanent damage.
  • Do not touch any part of the product during operation to prevent electric shock.
  • As a magnetic product, consider potential interactions with surrounding components.
  • When re-soldering or modifying after initial soldering, adhere to the specified temperature conditions. Excessive heating or repeated disassembly may lead to product failure.
  • Avoid contact with cleaning agents, alcohol, or other liquids, as they can corrode the product body and cause failure.
  • After soldering to the PCB, ensure that no residual stress is applied to the inductor due to board deformation (overall or localized, e.g., at screw tightening points), which could lead to cracking, detachment, or failure.
  • Preheat before soldering; the temperature difference between preheating and soldering should ideally be within 150.
