Product Overview
The CM1418 Praetorian is an L-C EMI filter array with integrated ESD protection, designed specifically for headset speakers. It features two Pi-filters (C-L-C) with component values of 117 pF/3.0 nH/117 pF. The device offers a high level of protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) with diodes capable of dissipating strikes up to 30 kV (IEC61000-4-2 contact discharge and MIL-STD-883 HBM). Its small package and easy pin assignments make it ideal for portable electronics such as mobile handsets, PDAs, and notebook computers. The CM1418 is particularly suited for EMI filtering and ESD protection of speaker output lines in mobile handsets, featuring a low-resistance inductor (< 0.35 ) to maximize power output. It includes OptiGuard coating for enhanced assembly reliability and is housed in a space-saving, low-profile Chip Scale Package (CSP) with RoHS-compliant, lead-free finishing.
