onsemi CM1426: EMI Filter Array with ESD Protection

The onsemi CM1426 is a family of pi-style EMI filter arrays designed to provide robust Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection for sensitive electronic components. Integrating four, six, or eight C-R-C filter channels within a compact Chip Scale Package (CSP) with a 0.50 mm pad pitch, the CM1426 offers a high level of integration for space-constrained applications. Each channel features component values of 8.5 pF - 100 - 8.5 pF, with a cut-off frequency of 230 MHz, making it suitable for data rates up to 92 Mbps. The integrated avalanche-type ESD diodes on every pin provide exceptional protection against ESD strikes, exceeding the IEC61000-4-2 international standard with 8 kV contact discharge protection and 15 kV Human Body Model (HBM) protection. The CM1426 incorporates OptiGuard for enhanced reliability during assembly and is available in RoHS compliant, lead-free finishing. Its small package and convenient pin assignments make it ideal for portable electronics such as wireless handsets, PDAs, and notebook computers, specifically for filtering and protecting data and control lines for I/O ports, LCD displays, and camera interfaces.
