Electrical Characteristics:
- Capacitance and Tolerance: Tested at 25, 1 MHz and 1 Vrms (Class I), 1 kHz and 1 Vrms (Class II), 1 kHz and 0.1 Vrms (Class III). Refer to specification table.
- Quality Factor (Q) or Dissipation Factor (DF): Tested under the same conditions as capacitance. Q400+20Cr (Cr30pF), Q1000 (Cr30pF). DF: 2.5% (Y5P, YR, Y5U&Z5U), 0.3% (YR), 3.5% (Y5V&Z5V), 5% (Class III Y5V & Y5U), 3.5% (Class III Y5P).
- Insulation Resistance: Tested within 605 seconds of charging at rated voltage or 500VDC (above rated voltage). Class I & II: 10000 M. Class III: 250 M.
- Dielectric Strength: Voltage applied between capacitor leads: 300% rated voltage (50V~500V), 150% rated voltage (1000V~2000V). Insulation voltage: 150% rated voltage. No breakdown or flashover.

- Resistance to Soldering Heat: Solder temperature: 2605. Immersion time: 100.5 seconds. After treatment, placed under standard atmospheric pressure for 242 hours. No visible damage, capacitance change within specified limits, dielectric strength as per 5.1.4.
- Resistance to Solvents: Immerse in isopropyl alcohol for 305 seconds. No visible damage.
- Temperature Cycling: 5 cycles of -25 to +85. After treatment, no visible damage, capacitance change within specified limits, Q factor as per 5.3.5, insulation resistance 1000 M (Class I), 170 M (Class III), dielectric strength as per 5.1.4.
- Damp Heat Test: Stored at 402, 90~95% RH for 500+24 hours. After treatment, no visible damage, capacitance change as per 5.3.5, Q factor as per 5.3.5, insulation resistance 2500 M (Class I), 1000 M (Class II), 170 M (Class III), dielectric strength as per 5.1.4.
- Endurance Test: Applied voltage at 853 for 1000+48 hours. After treatment, no visible damage, capacitance change within specified limits, Q factor as per 5.3.5, insulation resistance, dielectric strength as per 5.1.4.
