  • Avoid applications requiring extremely high reliability for prevention of damage to third party's life, body or property (e.g., Aircraft, Aerospace, Medical, Power plant control, Disaster prevention, Traffic signal, Transportation, Data-processing equipment).
  • Refrain from use in environments with corrosive gases (sulfur, chlorine, ammonia) or oils that have contacted corrosive gases, as this can lead to product deterioration.

Notice

  • Soldering is restricted to reflow method. Consult Murata for other mounting methods.
  • Land pattern design: Standard land dimensions provided for reflow soldering. Excessive heat from land pads may cause joint deterioration.
  • Mounting conditions: Ensure suitable mounting conditions (nozzles, equipment) to prevent pickup errors, misalignment, or damage.
  • Soldering conditions: Use rosin-based flux (not highly acidic or water-soluble). Use Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu solder. Standard solder paste thickness: 100 m to 150 m.
  • Pre-heating and cooling: Limit temperature difference between solder and ferrite surface to 150C max during pre-heating, and to 100C max during cooling into solvent. Insufficient pre-heating may cause cracks.
