Application Notes
Mounting Direction: Mount products in the correct direction to avoid circuit malfunction, flames, or other serious trouble. Wrong direction (90 rotated) can cause open/short circuits.
Limitation of Applications: Contact Murata before using in applications requiring extremely high reliability, such as aircraft, aerospace, medical, transportation, and power plant control equipment, or similar complex/high-reliability applications.
Soldering: Designed for reflow soldering only. Consult Murata for alternative mounting methods like conductive adhesive. Use rosin-based flux (not highly acidic, chlorine content <0.2wt%) and Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu solder. Avoid Sn-Zn based solder.
