Use non-polar types for potential reverse polarity. Avoid rapid charge/discharge cycles. Do not exceed rated voltage; use balancing resistors for series connections. Outer sleeve is not insulated. Do not connect blank terminals on snap-in types. Avoid water, brine, oil, toxic gases, ozone, UV, radiation, and excessive vibration/shock. Ensure PC board hole spacing matches lead spacing. Maintain clearance above safety vents. For screw terminals, ensure correct mounting orientation and torque.

Mounting: Do not reuse assembled capacitors. Discharge capacitors before handling. Leakage current may increase after prolonged storage; perform voltage treatment if necessary. Confirm ratings and polarity before installation. Handle with care to avoid damage. Ensure lead spacing matches PC board holes. Install snap-in types tightly. Avoid excessive clinch force and mechanical shock during automated assembly. Observe proper soldering conditions (Pb/Sn and Pb-free). Do not tilt, lay down, or twist capacitors after soldering. Avoid touching capacitors after soldering. Do not clean with halogenated cleaning agents. When using fixing/coating materials, avoid halogen content and ensure proper flux removal.

Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions (5-35C, <75% RH, out of direct sunlight) to prevent characteristic degradation. Capacitors stored for over a year may require voltage aging treatment.

Printed Circuit Board Cleaning: Avoid halogen type solvents due to potential corrosion. Water or alcohol-based cleaning agents are preferred. If halogen solvents are used, ensure capacitors are resistant or that boards are cleaned beforehand.

Basic Electrical Characteristics: Capacitance is measured at 120Hz, 0.5Vrms AC with DC bias. Tan and ESR are frequency and temperature dependent. Impedance (Z) varies with frequency and temperature. Leakage current is a small DC current flowing to reform the oxide layer, influenced by temperature and voltage.
