Product Overview
The SAMXON SK Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are polar, foil-type capacitors designed for use in electronic equipment. Meeting IEC60384 standards, these capacitors offer reliable performance with a wide operating temperature range of -40C to 105C. They are constructed with a tinned CP wire lead line, aluminum wire terminals, a rubber seal, aluminum foil (anode and cathode), an aluminum case, and a PET sleeve. The SK series is suitable for various electronic applications requiring stable capacitance, low leakage current, and defined impedance characteristics.

Environmental Considerations
- Controlled Substances: List of controlled substances is provided, referring to the latest document "Environment-related Substances standard" (WI-HSPM-QA-072).
- Application Guidelines: Includes considerations for circuit design (operating temperature, frequency, common application conditions to avoid like reverse voltage, over voltage, ripple current), using multiple capacitors in series/parallel, capacitor mounting, electrical isolation, and product endurance.
- Capacitor Handling Techniques: Covers considerations before use (finite life, transient recovery voltage, leakage current increase with storage, damage from dropping/denting), insertion (polarity, hole spacing), manual and flow soldering, post-solder handling, circuit board cleaning (acceptable solvents, drying, contamination monitoring), mounting adhesives/coatings.
- Precautions for Using Capacitors: Environmental conditions to avoid (temperature extremes, water, high humidity, toxic gases, radiation, vibration/shock) and electrical precautions (avoid touching terminals, avoid short circuits).
- Emergency Procedures: Actions to take if the pressure relief vent operates (turn off equipment, avoid contact with escaping electrolyte/gas, first aid).
- Long Term Storage: Leakage current increases with storage time; reconditioning may be required. Capacitors over eighteen months expired should be returned for confirmation.
- Capacitor Disposal: Recommended methods include incineration after crushing/puncturing or disposal as solid waste, following local laws.
