  • Shelf Life Test: Stored at 1052 for 1000+48/0 hours. Criteria include leakage current, capacitance change (within 20%), tan (not more than 200%), and appearance (no electrolyte leakage).
  • Surge Test: Applied surge voltage with a resistor. 1000 cycles of charge (305s) and discharge (5 min 30s) at 15~35. Criteria include leakage current, capacitance change (within 15%), tan, and appearance (no electrolyte leakage).
  • Vibration Test: 10Hz ~ 55Hz, 1.5mm peak to peak amplitude, for 2 hours in 3 mutually perpendicular directions. Criteria include no intermittent contacts, open/short circuits, or damage.
  • Solderability Test: Sn-Cu solder at 2503, dipping depth 2mm, dipping speed 252.5mm/s, dipping time 30.5s. Minimum 95% surface coated.
  • Resistance to Solder Heat Test: Terminals immersed in solder bath at 2605 for 101 seconds or 40010 for 3+0/-1 seconds. Criteria include leakage current, capacitance change (within 10%), tan, and appearance (no electrolyte leakage).
  • Change of Temperature Test: 5 cycles of temperature changes (-40/-25, +105, +20). Criteria include leakage current, tan, and appearance (no electrolyte leakage).
  • Damp Heat Test: 5008 hours at 90~95% RH, 402. Criteria include leakage current, capacitance change (within 20%), tan (not more than 120%), and appearance (no electrolyte leakage).
  • Vent Test: For products with vent (diameter 6.3). DC test with reversed polarity. Criteria: Vent operates with no dangerous conditions.
  • Maximum Permissible (Ripple Current): Maximum AC current at 120Hz and maximum operating temperature. Frequency multipliers provided for different frequencies. Temperature coefficients provided for different temperatures.
