  • Change of temperature test: 5 cycles of temperature changes (-40C to +105C). Criteria: Leakage current not more than specified, tan not more than specified, no electrolyte leakage.
  • Damp heat test: 5008 hours at 90~95% RH and 402. Criteria: Leakage current not more than specified, Capacitance Change within 20%, tan not more than 120%, no electrolyte leakage.
  • Vent test: For products with vent diameter 6.3. DC test with reversed polarity. Criteria: Vent operates with no dangerous conditions.
  • Maximum permissible (ripple current): Maximum AC current at 100kHz and maximum operating temperature.
