Construction

Single-ended type with tinned copper or CP line terminals, aluminum foil anode and cathode, electrolyte paper, polymer electrolyte, and aluminum case sealed with end seal rubber.

Characteristics Measurement Conditions

Standard Atmospheric Conditions: Ambient temperature: 15C to 35C, Relative humidity: 45% to 75%, Air Pressure: 86kPa to 106kPa.

Measurement Conditions for Doubtful Results: Ambient temperature: 20C 2C, Relative humidity: 60% to 70%, Air Pressure: 86kPa to 106kPa.

Detailed Test Criteria

Capacitance: Measured at 120Hz12Hz, 0.5Vrms, 202. Shall be within specified tolerance.

Leakage Current: Measured after 2 minutes with rated voltage applied through a 1k10 resistor. Remeasurement after voltage treatment (120 mins at 105) if exceeding Table 3 values.

Tangent of Loss Angle (tan): Measured under same conditions as Capacitance.

ESR: Measured at 100kHz to 300kHz, 202. Measuring point: 2mm max from sealing resin surface.

Temperature Characteristic: Impedance ratio (Z-55/Z20 1.25, Z105/Z20 1.25), Capacitance change (C/C 20 within 5% of step 1), tan ( value of item 4.4).

Load Life Test Criteria: Capacitance Change (20% of initial), tan (1.5 times of item 4.4), ESR (1.5 times of item 4.5), Leakage current ( value of item 4.3), Appearance (no notable changes).

Surge Test Criteria: Capacitance Change (20% of initial), tan (1.5 times of item 4.4), ESR (1.5 times of item 4.5), Leakage current ( value of item 4.3).

Damp Heat Test Criteria: Capacitance Change (20% of initial), tan (1.5 times of item 4.4), ESR (1.5 times of item 4.5), Leakage current ( value of item 4.3), Appearance (no notable changes).
