X-CON Conductive Polymer Aluminum Solid Capacitors
X-CON conductive polymer aluminum solid capacitors offer low ESR, making them ideal for decoupling applications with ideal frequency characteristics. They are suitable as smoothing capacitors for miniaturizing switching power supplies due to their ability to handle large ripple currents, and as backup capacitors for high-speed, high-current circuits. These capacitors are Pb-free and RoHS compliant. Some series offer a long life of up to 50,000 hours at 85C. They exhibit superior temperature characteristics, with stable ESR from -55C to 105C (partly 125C), making them suitable for low-temperature applications. A wide capacitance range from 1F to 2700F is available, and high-voltage options up to 200V are offered. Applications include smoothing, backup, and bypass functions in digital equipment, household appliances, computer hardware, and industrial equipment.
