The MACOM MAOC-009872 is an InGaP HBT-based Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) designed for frequency generation in the 11.0 11.82 GHz range. It features low phase noise, a wide tuning range, and a divide-by-two output for easy integration into phase-locked loops. An integrated buffer amplifier and excellent temperature stability contribute to its robust performance. This VCO is ideal for high-capacity digital radio applications, point-to-point radio, point-to-multipoint radio, and general communications systems requiring low phase noise. It operates with a +5V bias supply and is housed in a lead-free, halogen-free 5 mm 32-lead PQFN package that is RoHS compliant and compatible with 260C reflow temperatures.
