Ferrite EMI Cable Cores
Laird's Ferrite EMI Cable Cores are designed to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) in electronic devices. These cores are essential for ensuring signal integrity and protecting electronics from unwanted noise. They are particularly effective in high-frequency applications and can be used in common mode configurations to prevent saturation from high currents. The selection of the appropriate ferrite material and core size is crucial for optimal performance, with high-performance materials allowing for smaller, lighter, and more cost-effective solutions. These cores are designed to be easily installed over cables and can be placed near the noise source for maximum effectiveness.
