The MMKP82 series is a double-sided metallized polypropylene film capacitor (box-type) designed for high-voltage, high-frequency pulse circuits. It features low loss, small internal temperature rise, a negative temperature coefficient of capacitance, and excellent flame-resistant properties. This capacitor is widely used in electronic ballasts, energy-saving lamps, and SNUBBER and SCR commutating circuits. The construction utilizes a polypropylene film dielectric with a double-sided metallized polyester film as electrodes, forming a non-inductive configuration with tin-plated copper leads and flame-retardant epoxy resin encapsulation.
