The MMKP82 is a double-sided metallized polypropylene film capacitor (box-type) designed for high-voltage, high-frequency pulse circuits. It features low loss, small internal temperature rise, a negative temperature coefficient of capacitance, and excellent flame-resistant properties. This capacitor is widely used in electronic ballasts, compact lamps, and SNUBBER and SCR commutating circuits. It utilizes a polypropylene film dielectric with a double-sided metallized polyester film as electrodes, a non-inductive configuration with twin section spray-metal, and is sealed with flame-retardant epoxy resin. The lead-out wires are tin-plated copper.
