Product Overview
The Low Power Type Resistors, specifically the Coat-Insulated Fixed Metal Film Resistors (MF series), are high-precision, low T.C.R. metal film resistors designed for automatic insertion and various forming processes. They offer excellent long-term stability and meet EU-RoHS requirements. These resistors are AEC-Q200 qualified (excluding MF1/2 models) and are suitable for applications requiring high reliability. For safety-critical applications such as automotive, medical, and aerospace equipment, prior contact with the manufacturer is mandatory.

Derating Curve
For resistors operated at an ambient temperature of 70 or above, a power rating shall be derated in accordance with the derating curve.
Precautions for Use
Ionic impurities such as flux etc. that are attached to these products or those mounted onto a PCB, negatively affect their moisture resistance and corrosion resistance. Flux may contain ionic substances like chlorine and acid. Washing is recommended to remove these ionic substances, especially when using lead-free solder which may contain more such substances for improved wetting. Using RMA solder or RMA flux, or thorough washing is advised. Attaching ionic substances such as perspiration and salt due to storage or mounting environments also affects moisture and corrosion resistance. Washing is recommended to remove these ionic substances when polluted.
