Usage Precautions

  • The base material of chip resistors is alumina. Due to differences in thermal expansion coefficients with the mounting substrate, solder at the joint (welded part) may crack under repeated thermal stress such as thermal cycling. This is particularly noticeable in larger sizes (W2H/W3A/W3A2) due to greater thermal expansion and self-heating.
  • RK73B 1F resistors are susceptible to damage from static electricity generated during equipment assembly.
