Precautions for Use

  • The substrate of chip resistors is alumina. Cracks may occur at the solder connection due to thermal expansion differences with the mounting board under repeated thermal stress. This is particularly a concern for larger sizes (W2H/W3A/W3A2) with greater thermal expansion and self-heating. Design considerations are needed for applications with significant ambient temperature fluctuations or load ON/OFF cycles.
  • RK73H1F resistors may be damaged by static electricity generated during equipment assembly.
