Derating Curves

For resistors operated at an ambient temperature of 70C or higher, power shall be derated according to the derating curve based on Ambient Temperature (C).

For resistors where the terminal part temperature exceeds the rated terminal part temperature, power shall be derated according to the derating curve based on Terminal Part Temperature (C).
