THICK FILM CHIP RESISTORS RK73B

The RK73B series offers a robust lineup of thick film chip resistors, available in sizes from 0402 to 6432. Featuring a metal glaze thick film for excellent heat and weather resistance, these resistors are suitable for reflow and wave soldering processes. They are RoHS compliant with lead-free terminals, and lead-containing glass in electrodes, resistive film, and glass are exempt from EU RoHS directives. AEC-Q200 data is available for most models.

Usage Notes: - The base material of chip resistors is alumina. Due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficient from the mounting substrate, solder cracks may occur at the joint (solder part) when subjected to thermal stress such as repeated thermal cycles. Special attention is required for larger sizes (W2H/W3A/W3A2) due to greater thermal expansion and self-heating. - RK73B1F resistors are susceptible to damage from static electricity during equipment assembly. - When using at high power, the component temperature may rise depending on the heat dissipation conditions of the substrate. Always confirm terminal temperature and product specifications/precautions before use. - For applications involving human safety or significant loss, contact the company beforehand.
