THICK FILM CHIP RESISTORS RK73B
The RK73B is a thick film chip resistor series featuring a robust product lineup from 0402 to 6432 sizes. Its construction utilizes a metal glaze thick film for the protective coating, providing excellent heat and weather resistance. These resistors are compatible with reflow and wave soldering processes. The terminal lead-free products comply with EU RoHS directives, with exceptions for lead glass in electrodes, resistive film layers, and ceramics as per the directive. AEC-Q200 data is available for most models (excluding 1F). These resistors are suitable for various applications including automotive, medical, and aerospace equipment where safety and reliability are paramount.

Power Derating Curves
Power derating is required when operating above rated ambient temperature or exceeding rated terminal temperature. Refer to the provided curves for specific derating ratios based on terminal temperature and model series.
Temperature Rise Data
Temperature rise data under specific measurement conditions (25 ambient, FR-4 substrate t=1.6mm, 35m Cu foil) is provided for reference.
Single Pulse Limiting Power Curve
Curves show the one-pulse limiting electric power versus pulse duration for different model groups. Maximum applicable voltage is the maximum overload voltage. Consult for continuous pulse tolerance.
