Product Overview

The SR73 series are low resistance flat chip resistors designed for current detection in power supply and motor circuits. They offer high reliability and performance with a resistance tolerance of 0.5% and a temperature coefficient of 10010-6/K. These resistors are suitable for both reflow and flow solderings and meet EU-RoHS requirements for lead-free termination. They are AEC-Q200 qualified (except for the 1H type).

Derating Curve

For resistors operated at an ambient temperature of 70 or above, a power rating shall be derated in accordance with the derating curve. For resistors operated at terminal part temperature of described for each size or above, a power rating shall be derated in accordance with derating curve.

Precautions for Use

  • Cracks may occur at the solder connection due to thermal stress from differences in thermal expansion coefficients between the chip resistor and the mounting board, especially with larger types (W2H, W3A, W3A2) which have greater thermal expansion and self-heating. Careful design is required for applications with significant ambient temperature fluctuations or repeated load ON/OFF cycles.
  • The resistance value after soldering may change depending on the size of the pad pattern or solder amount. Verify the effect of resistance value changes before finalizing equipment design.
