Product Overview

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for the PFC control circuits of LED drivers and various switching power supplies. It serves as a filtering and energy storage capacitor, offering an alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors. This product eliminates the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (associated with K-leads in traditional capacitors), thereby reducing costs. Unlike conventional film capacitors which can be prone to fire, have short lifespans, non-standard dimensions, and easily cracked encapsulation, the MPP85-BOX features a specially designed internal structure with enhanced spray-gold contact, increasing contact area by 150-200% for lower high-frequency loss. This allows it to withstand greater voltage and current surge impacts, significantly reducing internal heat generation. JURCC's proprietary manufacturing processes and dynamic voltage/current surge testing ensure product longevity. Encased in PBT synthetic resin and flame-retardant epoxy resin, it offers improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy, good appearance consistency, a C-grade flammability rating, and a maximum operating temperature of 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications and widely used for bypass, DC isolation, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage dividing in various electronic and electrical products.
