Product Overview
The JURCC MPP92-BOX is a metallized film cartridge capacitor specifically designed for LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies, including LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits. It offers an alternative to traditional epoxy-encapsulated metallized film capacitors, addressing common issues such as low power factor, high energy loss, capacitor overheating, short lifespan, inconsistent dimensions, and casing cracking. Key advantages include a reduced risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (eliminating the need for K-leads), lower noise, and significantly improved contact area (150-200% increase) due to a specially designed internal structure. This leads to lower high-frequency loss, enhanced surge voltage and current handling capabilities, and reduced internal heat generation, ultimately improving power energy transfer. The capacitor is manufactured with a PBT synthetic resin shell and flame-retardant epoxy resin potting, offering improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy. It also boasts excellent high-frequency characteristics (up to 1000KHz) with low high-frequency loss, making it ideal for high-current, high-frequency applications such as resonance, bypass, DC blocking, filtering, and coupling.
