Product Description

The JURCC MPP92-BOX Metallized Film Cartridge Capacitor is an oscillating capacitor specifically designed for LLC/LCC resonant and RC/RCC/DRC absorption circuits in LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It offers an alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors, addressing their drawbacks such as low power factor, high energy loss, capacitor overheating and damage, fire hazards, short lifespan, non-standard dimensions, and casing cracking. Key advantages of the MPP92-BOX include reduced risk of damage during wave soldering (eliminating the need for K-foot processing and lowering costs), lower noise compared to traditional film capacitors, and significantly improved contact area (150-200% increase) due to a specially designed internal structure with gold spraying. This leads to lower high-frequency loss, better tolerance to voltage and current surges, and reduced internal heat generation, ultimately enhancing power factor and minimizing energy loss. Encased in a PBT synthetic resin shell and filled with flame-retardant epoxy resin, it offers improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy, consistent appearance, and a temperature resistance of 110. Its excellent high-frequency characteristics (up to 1000KHz) and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current, high-frequency applications. It is widely used in various electronic and electrical products for resonance, bypass, DC blocking, filtering, and coupling.
