Product Overview

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for the PFC control circuits of LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It serves as a filtering and energy storage capacitor, offering an alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Key advantages include the elimination of the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (no 'K' foot required, reducing costs), reduced fire and burning risks, improved lifespan, standardized external dimensions, and enhanced encapsulation integrity. The MPP85-BOX features lower noise compared to traditional film capacitors, a specially designed internal structure with 150-200% increased spray gold contact area for reduced high-frequency loss, improved ability to withstand voltage and current surges, and significantly lower internal heat generation. Encased in PBT synthetic resin and sealed with flame-retardant epoxy resin, it offers improved moisture resistance and flame retardancy, good appearance consistency, a C-grade flammability rating, and a maximum operating temperature of 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications and widely used for bypassing, DC isolation, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage reduction in various electronic and electrical products.
