JURCC MPP85-BOX Metallized Film Box Capacitor Datasheet

The JURCC MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically designed for PFC control circuits in LED drivers and various switching power supplies. It serves as a high-performance alternative to traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Key advantages include the elimination of the risk of thermal damage during wave soldering (no 'K' foot required, reducing costs), significantly reduced noise compared to conventional film capacitors, and enhanced performance due to a specially designed internal structure that increases spray gold contact area by 150-200%. This leads to lower high-frequency loss, improved surge voltage and current handling capabilities, and reduced internal heat generation. The capacitor features a PBT synthetic resin casing and flame-retardant epoxy potting, offering superior moisture resistance and flame retardancy. It boasts good appearance consistency, a flame retardant rating of Class C, and a maximum operating temperature of 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications and suitable for bypass, DC isolation, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC step-down circuits in various electronic and electrical products.
