The MPP85-BOX is a metallized film box capacitor specifically developed for the PFC control circuits of LED driver power supplies and various switching power supplies. It serves as a filtering and energy storage capacitor, designed to replace traditional powder epoxy encapsulated metallized film capacitors. Unlike traditional capacitors that pose a risk of damage during wave soldering (due to K-foot treatment), the MPP85-BOX eliminates this risk and the need for K-feet, thereby reducing costs. Traditional film capacitors are prone to issues such as fire, short lifespan, non-standard dimensions, and casing cracking. The MPP85-BOX features reduced noise compared to conventional film capacitors. Its specially designed internal structure enhances spray gold contact by 150-200%, leading to lower high-frequency loss, improved surge voltage and current handling capabilities, and significantly reduced internal heat generation. JURCC's proprietary manufacturing processes and dynamic voltage-current surge testing ensure product lifespan. The capacitor is encapsulated in a PBT synthetic resin shell and filled with flame-retardant epoxy resin, greatly improving moisture resistance and flame retardancy. It offers good appearance consistency, a flame retardant rating of Class C, and a temperature resistance of 110. Its excellent frequency characteristics and low high-frequency loss make it ideal for high-current applications. It is widely used for bypassing, DC blocking, filtering, coupling, resonance, and RC voltage dividing in various electronic and electrical products.
